Blake Shelton was born on June 18, 1976, in Ada, Oklahoma, the United States to parents Richard Lee “Dick” Shelton and Dorothy Ann. His mother is a beauty salon owner and his father is a car salesman. He started singing at an early stage of life like at 12 years old. Shelton received a bachelor’s degree from a local school.
Career
Blake Shelton made his debut with the single “Austin” in 2001. The song “Austin” from his self-titled album leads the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Then he released his second “The Dreamer” in 2003 and his third studio album “Blake Shelton’s Barn & Grill” in 2004. The duo albums got gold and platinum, respectively.
Personal Life
Blake Shelton married Kaynette Gern on November 17, 2003, after a long courtship. After three years together, they divorced in 2006. Before getting divorced from his first wife, he met singer Miranda Lambert in 2005 and they married on May 14, 2011.
In 2015, the couple parted ways getting divorced because Shelton started dating Gwen Stefani. In 2021, he married Gwen Stefani.
