Taraneh Alidoosti was born on January 12, 1984, in Tehran, Iran to parents Hamid Alidoosti and Nadereh Hakim-Elahi. Her father Hamid Alidoosti was a footballer for the Iran national team and her mother is a sculptor and art tutor. He had a brother who died in an accident.
Career
Taraneh Alidoosti made her acting debut appearing in the film “I’m Taraneh, 15” in 2002. Following a year in 2003, she showed off an excellent acting performance in the film “The Beautiful City” alongside Faramarz Gharibian.
In 2006, she acted in the drama film “Fireworks Wednesday” which conveys the Iran Cinema Celebration award for the actress. In 2009, she showed off an outstanding acting performance in the movie “About Elly” and got huge fame from critics and fans.
