Nancy Pelosi is a popular American politician who serving as 52nd speaker of the United States House of Representatives since 2019. She is the first female speaker to hold the position in 2007 and regained the post in 2019.
Early Life
Nancy Pelosi was born on March 26, 1940, in Baltimore, Maryland, United States to an Italian-American family. She is the youngest and only daughter of seven children of her parents.
Her father Thomas D’Alesandro Jr. was a Democratic congressman from Maryland and her mother Anunciata D’Alesandro was also an active politician.

She won the 1987 special election and was first elected to Congress and is now the 18th term in row.

Nancy Pelosi married Paul Pelosi on September 7, 1963. They first met during college. Together the couple has five children and nine grandchildren.
