Mark Kelly is a famous American politician, businessman and retired astronaut, U.S. Navy captain. He has been serving as the junior United States senator from Arizona since 2020.

Early Life
Mark Kelly was born on February 21, 1964, in the City of Orange, New Jersey, United States. His parents Richard and Patricia were police officers.
He studied at Mountain High School and graduated in 1982. In 1986, he received a Bachelor’s degree from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in marine engineering. Then he achieved a Master of Science from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School in aeronautical engineering.
Career
Mark Kelly kicked off his career journey as a naval aviator in December 1987. In 1996, he joined the NASA Astronaut Corps and logged over 54 days in space. He announced his retirement from NASA on June 21, 2011.
Two years later he started his political journey in January 2013. In 2020, he won the 2020 United States Senate special election in Arizona and keeps the Senate seat winning the 2022 election.
Personal Life
Mark Kelly married Amelia Victoria Babis on January 7, 1989. The couple called it over and finally got divorced in 2004. They have two daughters named Claudia and Claire Kelly.
On November 10, 2007, he married Gabby Giffords, an American retired politician, gun control advocate, and U.S. Representative.
