Katie Hobbs was born on December 28, 1969, in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. She studied at Seton Catholic High School and graduated in 1988. Then Hobbs received a bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University in 1992 and a master’s degree from Arizona State University in 1995 in social work.
Career
Katie Hobbs kicked off her political journey by being elected to the Arizona House of Representatives in 2010. Two years later, she was elected to the Arizona Senate.
Finally, she narrowly defeated Republican nominee Kari Lake in the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election and become the fifth female governor of the state.
