Anna Sorokin (Anna Delvey) is a Russian-born German con-artist and fraudster who pretend herself as a wealthy heiress to get access to the upper class of New York social. She has already deceived many financial institutions and jailed for four years.

Born to a working-class family, she emigrated in 2007 at her 16 years old. She attended the Catholic grammar school Bischöfliche Liebfrauenschule Eschweiler. Despite of struggling with the German language, she received a bachelor’s degree in 2011.
She moved to London pursue to join Central Saint Martins, an art school but dropped out.
Anna Sorokin joined as an intern at Purple, a French fashion magazine where she earned €400 per month. She holds her surname “Anna Delvey” and set up her mind for frauding.
In 2013, she traveled to the United States and it seems to be easier to make friends in New York City than in Paris. Then she planned to stay in the city and came up with the idea of the “Anna Delvey Foundation eventually finally began her frauding business.
Anna Sorokin had been dating a boy in New York City for two years keeping secret her boyfriend’s identity secret.
